The selfie includes actress Mae Whitman, Hannah Bronfman, Aerie models Iskra Lawrence and Elizabeth Khinez, fashion blogger Sincerely Jules and over 1,000 women from Miami and beyond. The groundbreaking shot celebrated Aerie's nationwide swim takeover of all American Eagle Outfitters and Aerie stores this March. The brand tapped Gray Malin, notable aerial photographer specializing in tropical landscapes, to shoot a grand-scale image from a helicopter high above the Mondrian South Beach Pool in Miami Beach, Florida. Duff star Mae Whitman was joined by Hannah Bronfman along with 1,000 empowered women to celebrate their unretouched, real selves in Aerie swim and t-shirts emblazoned with #AerieREAL, the brand's mantra for the photograph.
