 More than 171 Million Americans Will Spend $8.4Billion On 2016 Halloween

171 million Americans are going to celebrate Halloween this year, according to research from the National Retail Federation. The last day of October is always frightfully lucrative for the U.S. economy with consumers spending billions of dollars on decorations, candy and costumes. This year, total spending is expected to hit an all-time high of $8.4 billion, a significant increase on $6.9 billion in 2015..
